Stella Savy has been a musician and teacher for over 20 years. She has taught all age groups and abilities in schools and education all over Australia. She is an engaging story teller and teacher. Every group she works with leaves with a new skill and a smile. Her performances feature original works with contagious beats and a world-contemporary fusion.

Stella’s music career has taken her to amazing locations around the world, including Africa and the Seychelle Islands, where she facilitates yearly tour groups. Stella has also worked with choirs for many years, ranging from community to professional. She also has a theatre background, which warmly complements her performance. She has an extensive skill set, including body percussion, harmony, hand-drumming and singing.

Stella Savy blends soulful vocals, guitar grooves, and infectious energy, drawing on her rich multicultural heritage and decades of performance and teaching experience. Mishael Gyabeng, a master drummer and culture keeper from Ghana, electrifies every space with powerful West African drumming, storytelling, and movement.

Together, they create an interactive performance that celebrates diversity, creativity, and the joy of rhythm. Students will sing, move, and learn about how music connects people across cultures — from African beats to island harmonies and everything in between.

Perfect for primary schools, their engaging show fosters inclusion, teamwork, and cultural appreciation through the universal language of music.

Performance 
Enjoy a fun and interactive 1-hour performance! Students will listen to and sing songs from Ghana and Seychelles, try body percussion, and hear exciting African stories and fables.

One-Day Package
Your school can divide students into 45-minute sessions in any way that suits your timetable.
In each session, students will:
– Learn to sing in one of 35 Ghanaian languages
– Play percussion (drums or body percussion, depending on group size)
– Explore movement and rhythm
– Listen to stories and traditional fables from Ghana
At the end of the day, we can also offer an optional Show and Tell for the whole school, where students can share what they have learned.

Artist in Residence Package (1 Week)
Your school can divide students into sessions in a way that works for your timetable.
During this week-long program, we will teach your students a full one-hour performance that includes the whole school. Teachers and students will also receive resources so they can practise outside the sessions.
Each class will have dedicated time with Stella and Mishael to learn the songs, stories, drumming, and movements needed for the final performance. Your school will need to provide: • rehearsal space for daily sessions • performance space large enough for the whole school to take part

One Hour Show

Artist in Residence

Working across your school, Stella will provide your students with fun, engaging songs and stories from around the world to develop along side their classroom teacher for a performance. Each group will present their songs and stories in a concert led by Stella and developed for your schools needs.
